BEC Preliminary

BEC Preliminary is for you if you want to know if your first stage of Business English learning has been successful. It is evidence of your basic knowledge of reading, writing, speaking and listening in a business context.

Preparation classes cover the range of grammar and vocabulary required to pass the exam. We include activities using all the required skills, learn useful exam techniques and test your knowledge with mock exams.

BEC Preliminary is a world recognised University of Cambridge Exam with a life-long validity. It serves as evidence of a person's English skills and consists of 4 sections – Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. It proves General English adequacy on Intermediate (B1) level.

If you want to prepare for a higher level exam like BEC Vantage, we recommend you take a longer course like our specific BEC Vantage course.

All the materials you need are provided at the beginning of each lesson, or as a package before the start of the course.
