International English Language Testing System

IELTS is for you if you want to study or work where English is the language of communication. IELTS is required for entry to university and recognised by employers in the UK, Australia, Canada and others. Moreover, professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies ask about this exam.

Preparation classes cover the range of grammar and vocabulary required to pass the exam. We include activities using all the required skills, learn useful exam techniques and test your knowledge with mock exams.

It is a world recognised University of Cambridge Examination which expires after 2 years. It serves as objective evidence of a person's English skills and consists of 4 sections – Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. No minimum score is required to pass the test and is scored on a nine-band scale corresponding to a specific competence in English.

There are 2 versions:

  • General Training – for those planning to undertake non-academic training, to gain work experience, or for immigration purposes
  • Academic – for those wishing to enrol in universities or an institution of higher education in an English speaking country

All the materials you need are provided at the beginning of each lesson, or as a package before the start of the course.
